On December 8, 2021, the Palm Beach County Democratic Black Caucus held its first general membership meeting since its inception in October 2021. State Senator Bobby Powell was the guest speaker for the evening. He spoke about the legislative happenings in the State of Florida. In attendance were key community leaders, such as, Terrie Rizzo, Former Chair of the Florida Democratic Party, Hon. Sheila Cherfilus-McCormick, Hon. Dale V. C. Holness, Hon. Douglas Lawson, Hon. Ira Raab, Hon. Katrina Long-Robinson, Vet. Carlton Cartright, Dr. Bongsoon Zubay, Chief Clarence Williams for House District 88, Jervonte “Tae” Edmonds for House District 88, and Hasan Zahangir for House District 90.
